How do you pronounce your name?
Easy - "
Coy-oh-lee (oh-lee-oh)" . And go for as long the coy-yodel takes you - Coyoliolioliolioliolioliolio!! (but Coy or Coyo are fine too!)
What is "plural"
Plurality is an umbrella term for the vast amount of experiences of having two or more person living in one body, sharing one mind.
People are quick to point out DID as one such example, though this is not the only type of experience of plurality out there. So We remain open to other experiences other than those specified in insurance manuals, such as the DSM-V
What's a Plural System?
A system is just a cute name for how everyone's brain operates. Everyone is a system. Plural systems just have the added plural experience.
Do you have DID?
Well...yes! We got an official diagnosis late 2025 during a long mental health journey. But, We didn't always have this. For a long time it was under OSDD, and before that... an experience without a name. And honestly, that worked fine for Us. Many cannot get a diagnosis or don't want to, they are still just as valid.
How do you feel about people faking DID/OSDD?
We really don't care. We're not mental health professionals, We cannot offer diagnosis. We DO think it's pretty toxic to assume or accuse someone based on suspicions.
How do you all like to be addressed?
This is actually one We get a lot! It's very polite! But, this is pretty easy. If you know who's fronting, feel free to address Us by name and pronouns. If you don't, Coyoli or Coyo (they/them) is just fine.
Are you Irish? Scottish? Why the accent?
Umm.. yes and no? Irish blood, not born. Born and grew up in the US. Why the accent?! NO IDEA! I sound like this in the head, and when I speak it comes out that way.
We have asked mental health professionals before and I guess it's not exactly clear why this happens. But not exactly uncommon either. Lots of systems have similar thing but it doesn't come out as strong. Our guess is because the body isn't usually used to making those sounds, but since we've been doing amateur voice work since high school, it's a bit easier?
